Leupold Mark4 ring question

Anyone running a set of medium height Leupold Mark4 rings?

Measuring from the base that sits on the mount to the center of the ring, the high's are 1". I'm looking to lower from high to medium but only have .300" clearance between the scope and barrel.

If anyone has medium Mark4 rings, could you please measure from the bottom that sits ON the mount to the center of the ring?

Leupold has the measurements on their website. Look in the specs on mark 4 rings
Mine r like .82" or something, don't remember if they're called lows or mediums

I think those are the medium.
I have .300" of clearance now with a 1" HIGH set.

This is about all I could find brother. Looks like .840 for med according to Brownells assuming u are talking 30mm flavor.

I think a .84 height would leave me about .014" between the scope and barrel. With the 1" I currently use, I have just .300" clearance, so... 1.0 - .300= .700 and with the .840" height, it should give me .014". I think I'm right
