leupold 4.5-14x50 m1 tactical

guys what you all think about the new line from leupold, i've just bought the 4.5-14x50 tactical long range with the 30 m.m. tube and side focus piece. do you all think i should have waited for the new line? is there any difference between both scopes beside the m1 taurret

The new Leupolds will have the M1 knobs for both ele/win as well as the M1 parallax knob. The Leupold ring will be black instead of gold and more importantly they went to a glass etched .2mil round dot reticle.

Of course, the glass, tube, errector and all other non-estetic featured will be identical.

They are the same scope, dressed up a bit to to sell to the guys that have to have tactical in the name to make a sale. If you must have the M1 knobs and mildot reticle, Premier Reticle can replace the ele/win knobs (not the parallax) and put the gen II mildot reticle in, which IMHO is better than the standard Leupold due to the fact it's a magnified reticle and has the .5 moa hash marks.
