We all probably have several techno ultimate rifles that work great but lack the classic esthetics of what are today know as "classics".
Nothing like feel of fine walnut, a great blue job, the smell of Linseed oil and a sparkling blue job.

I'll start with a R.F Sedgley Springfield Sporter in 400 Whelen restored by the late Dick Collins. Leupold was nice enough to take apart their Alaskan and fit it in the solid side mount rings. CCH trap butt carries Lyman 48 staff and a spare cartridge.
