I know Les Baer 45s are the nuts! I have owned a few.
Your picture of the ONE hole 5 SHOT group is impressive and nothing less than a "LES BAER". What is the twist (1:7) ??
and what type of a rest was used to take the 5 from?
I have never seen a group like this from a gas gun. Extremely accurate!
I wouldn't sell it broken up. Superior package for sure.

In fact I wouldn't sell it if it was mine, but like all of us some times we need to get a good home for some of our prized processions.
That's why I am rethinking our inventory. We have extremely nice rifles & collector pistols just sitting in our safe and look at them every few months just to fondle and wipe down. Should be used. I am having such a hard time putting up for sale, since we have many that are not being used. No one to inherit them.

WOULD LOVE TO PUT THIS ONE IN MY SAFE -OR SHOOT COYOTES!
How many rounds through the tube?.
I have to stop looking at this post of the rifle- it is hypnotizing me to buy it!

Very Nice and sir you are correct-YOU DON'T SEE AR's LIKE THIS!

Hello,
I believe it is a 1-8 twist. I just don't shoot it anymore. The rest I have no idea what they used at the factory. I have put a full case of 200 through it. It would look good in your collection.

Thanks for responding. So the picture of the "Hole in One" with five shots were taken from the factory and not you?
Just want to clarify that. I shoot BR and to get one hole shots with (5) @ 100yards - I can not do even with my best reloads from a gas gun. I get < 0.25" maybe 0.20 but never 0.00. My bolt guns may get< 0.14 with 5 shots.
I would imagine that a 69gr in 223 would be at least a 1:7. I have built a few and I use 1:7 for any bullets over 60gr.
Also would really need the real twist. If you bought it from Les Baer you should have got all the paper work with documentation on accuracy and specifications on the rifle. I see where you posted the "Les Baer" Certificate , but it does not reflect your Rifle with Serial # and additional documents for accuracy.
I see that you have really good responses on the seller/buyer section.
Were you the original owner and if so or not could you provide me with the original documents from Les Baer on this rifle?
I have purchased Les Baer firearms before and they all came with documentation on specifications.

Thanks
Len & Jill

Yes. Target was done at the factory. I also have 14 cases of the ammo used for the target. Federal Gold Medal Match 69gr. Serial number is on the target with the rate of twist. 1x9 Close up of the serial number on the rifle in the photos. I can call Les Baer tomorrow about the twist. The standard twist is 1-9 from Les Baer. I am the second owner of this one. All but brand new when I got it. All the info from the factory that I have is included in the photos.

Hey man
Thanks much
It is a very AWSOME rifle. LES BAER makes some of the BEST Pistols and Rifles. This is a good deal with the rifle, scope and ammo at a good price. Someone will pick this one up soon. I need to see what I can do to trade some things around. I make all of our rifles, being a Gunsmith & FFL, but sometime there is a special one out there and this is a special rifle. I suggest that you call Les and get a definite on the twist. At this point doesn't matter because it shoots unbelievable, but you need the twist rate for shooting programs like Kestrel for accurate shooting.
Thanks again for posting it is a really nice rifle. Really want one this accurate and Les Baer are the Best.

Update:
I spoke with Les Baer himself. This rifle is a 1x9 twist. The target is correct. He confirmed 69gr FGMM is the correct ammo. His words were very clear, and I quote. Of course it is 1 hole, that is what we do.

Awesome! You have a real nice AR for sale. Someone will get a great rifle. As for me if we got it Jill would burn the barrel out in a few weeks. Would love to have it, but unfortunately need to release some of the firearms that we are not using and also need more equipment for the shop.
Thanks for the info someone will pick this one up real soon. I can see Les quoting those words "Of course it is 1 hole, that is what we do". Second to none for quality and accuracy!!!!
