Length of barrel?

For a .300 Win mag is ther a performance difference between a 24" and 26" barrel?

It will vary with powder/bullet combo but 75-100 fps is a decent guess for that length. If you get more load specific it may change.

This a question of purchasing a new gun and what effects perofrmance would be.

Get the 26" it will give better performance in 300WM as LL said 75-100 or figure it 25-50 an inch.
