Is glass ok? Looks like the plastic around objective has some damage. Looking at this for a buddy that is just getting into hunting. Not sure what his budget is.

Glass is great. I had another one that the housing cracked in the same exact spot. It doesn't affect function but Leica replaced it anyways, never bothered to try with this one.
