Leica 1600 Rangemaster ??

I've just ordered a 1600 Rangemaster . If you have this rangefinder how do you like it ? I'm excited I hope it is all that I expect it to be.

Thanks Gordon. I had the older 1200 model and it was okay I've read on this site and also seen that they take ranges on out to 1800 yrds or so. Folks were showing them off when they first came out but now i don't see much about them mine should be here in a few days then maybe i can share with you the angle measurments .

We have 6 inches of snow right now and so far i've been able to hit 1049 yards and from 800 to 950 over and over . i've ranged deer at 565 yards and even 2 does at 812 yards . they wouldn stand still long enough to take a shot but it's been fun trying. I cannot get any longer ranges thus far hopefully its because of the bright white snow .

My friend just bought one today. I will be interested in how it compares to my Swaro. I do like the features it has, now I would like to see how it performs. I'm sure it will be great.

we took four out before i bought one and two did 1751 on a tree every time and one did it most of the time and one would not do more than 700. Some other guys did the same thing with another batch and they said one would not do 1000. So I would play with them before you buy one or be willing to send it back to get it fixed.

i just sent mine back yesterday, my buddies bushnell arc 1000 spanked my leica rangemaster 1600 sooooo bad i was embarrased, in the dark with new batteries it would hit houses at 2040 and moving cars at 1860 but is worthless in the day time. i hope when i get the replacement it works or i am going swaro.

it should my does 1750 all day. My swaro does 1990 most of the time, off hand it does 1800 good. If it dont I have a swaro for sale on here, it is almost new had two months in the field. Let me know ill sale it for a good price, if I still have it then.
