Anyone using a bushing die for Lapua 6mm Creedmore brass?
Are you using .270" for two thousandths neck tension?
If not but using 6CM brass could you measure the case neck wall thickness for me?
Thanks.
Thanks.
That sounds right for Hornady. I'm getting Lapua brass. My Lapua 6BR brass is .0125".
I measure with a ball micrometer .0125", caliper reads .014".
I do not trust my calipers for neck thickness.
No problem .Thanks...learned something new today...
No problem .
By the way I'm working up loads for my 270wby and 170eol as we speak. The Mcgowen barrel is shooting really good with rl25 at 3190( brand new barrel) and PacNor is re-making the one that was not throated .375".
Good keep us updated.
Without a ball Mike you can get real close using this simple way to measure brass thickness with calipers.Thanks...learned something new today...
.288????? I don't think so.I use Gunwerks 6mm creedmoor brass & it was .0145-.0150 thickness, I turn mine to .013 & use the .288 neck bushing for sizing for a .002 grip on bullet.
