I've noticed that my lapua brass is cracking on the shoulder after only it's third firing.
I have hornady brass that is on it's eleventh load, no problems at all. The hornady brass on average weighs 330gr to the lapua's 315gr, I use the same loads in both with no signs of extreme pressure in either.
I live in South Africa and 338Lapua brass is really expensive and hard to come by, have a chance to get my hands on some norma brass.
Any thoughts on what went wrong with the lapua brass, or is it just a bad batch of hard brass?
Lot nr. P00665801
Please I cant afford to buy another "3 Shot batch", anyone have some thoughts on the norma brass??
