LA 6.5 PRC mag issues

I built a 6.5 PRC on a Rem 700 LA now I have problems with my AICS style magazine. When i shoot the lower 4 bullets then slide forward and stagger in the mag. Then when i try to load the second round it wont work due to this issue. Any suggestions?

I would try a spacer setup like this by Aalf on page 4.

This would be what you are looking for, I used it on my Mausingfield and it fixed the feeding issue I had with the round nose diving into the feed ramps.

Would this work in my magpul mag?

Which would i need to order.

It will not work with Magpul mags, only metal AICS ones. I wasn't able to get the magpul ones to work very well for the PRC but the magnum ones did work with standard short action rounds like the 6.5 Creedmoor and 22-250.

Another alternative would be to try the 3 round AICS mags, those seemed to work without the spacer in the front.

The difference is for the specific metal mag you use whether it's an MDT or AI brand mag.
