I've been doing to comparing between these 2 jackets (both hooded versions) and it seems like the differences are minor:
Camo pattern
Kuiu is lighter (although both very light - 7.9 vs 12 oz)
Name brand difference/loyalty
SKRE used to be the better bang for buck

Both can be had now for virtually the same price, both have the same 850 fill rating and both have great reviews. I have no brand loyalty and don't care about the camo pattern differences between the two (verde 2.0 or summit camo). My main priority is warmth, weight, durability and quiet enough to wear on it's own hunting.

Any of you have the chance to try or shop both and decide on one over the other? Which did you chose and why? I normally wear an XL in all my jackets. Do these fit true to size or should I order a size larger?

Thanks guys - as always, your real world opinions and feedback are greatly appreciated!

For the Kuiu gear I wear I usually go at least one size larger than what I normally wear.
