Kowa 663 with 20-60X eyepiece or Leupold GR 15-40X ?? Help me out here

Have an opportunity to buy a Kowa 663 with 20-60X eyepiece or Leupold GR Spotter with Impact Reticle for backpack hunting. Pros and Cons of each??

Im going to guess pretty even. I had 554 and side by side with my Leupold,very similar,but that Kowa smaller.I favored the leupold for view,larger field.I also had a 774 real nice but much larger.The Leupold is a real handy size,mine fits in my jeep center console,think its 12.5 long.My guess is the kowa would be slight better optics.
