Very impressive performance, especially for a light, small caliber bullet….very impressive! A higher percentage of weight loss that I'm comfortable with…..but, still great performance!

My mind isn't what it used to be, but petal to shank ratio is something that has been experimented with and discussed a bunch.

@GLTaylor has shot a bunch of deer with these, and has yet to recover a bullet. Mostly at a bit higher velocity.

I'm a couple of cups of coffee away from clearing cobwebs, but maybe he'll comment on the details, and evolution of this particular bullet.

Currently a couple 300 rums.
Have a 300/338 lapua that's on my list of things to try it in. Along with the afterburners.

Where I am, bullets are far less critical than your locale.
Broadheads are important to me.
On very seldom occasions I use a rifle for big game hunting.
Swine on the other hand, die by whatever means at hand. And collection is unimportant. Gut shot with a 22LR is just as good as a shoulder shot with a RUM. Dead is dead.
And before any bleeding hearts get upset about that comment, examine your on solutions for vermin/ nuisance/rat control.
Here, swine are considered just that.

No "bubble" for me yet.

The pic of the golden doesn't do it justice. The hair on the face is almost iridescent gold. They are not quite as big as the blue wildebeest. Next time we go I want to get a black wildebeest. We will have to go to the concession in Botswana to get one. Been wanting to go there since there is free range elephant and hippo.

I've already dropped 40 grains in the 6.5's, Not sure I can go another 40!

It's very hard to drop down in weight or let alone change brands when things are going well & it's not saying that x pill won't kill it's trying to find the one that kills more efficiently , that keeps some of us ticking
It's no one size fits all that's for sure

That little pill @ that impact/ resistance is extremely impressive & one I can't wait to see Steve & Brian test them on a few critters that I'm sure will sort out a line in the sand but I'm very confident that the shank will stay intact the only resistance that might upset the shank is teeth but from my tests so far I can't even kill those shanks on that resistance

Yep I don't think Steve even knows that I've tried that hard to kill his pills but he will now

& before I get raked over the coals by some it's a legitimate test to find out if /how a bullet will preform as if the need ever arises I want to know I'm safe or whom I'm standing beside is
