I live in Florida, but I never heard of Keaton Beach.

If your looking for speckled trout, the flats are good right now in 3-5' of water with gulps and diving plugs like Cotton Cordell red fins and bite-a-baits. Reds are in around grass lines and the same mentioned about will work as well as super spooks and most anything gold like spoons and other shallow diving plugs. Spring warrior, Yates Creek, Fisherman's rest are all great areas but like anything else you got to fish for 'em. All public ramps are closed until around at least May 1st. But you can still get your boat in the water in Stienhatchee at sea hag marina or River haven.
