I hope im posting this in the right section.

I've acquired a 7stw Remington 700 that was tuned by Karl Kenyon (trigger job, stock bedding), who apparently was quite the gunsmith a few decades ago. The factory barrel is shot out and is getting replaced with another stainless Remington factory 7stw barrel. I guess my question is what do I have? As a local to Ely Nevada, he was pretty talked about around here but was he known else ware?

A rifle, hopefully a great shooting one.
He died 11 years ago in Sandy ,Ut it says. From a google search he was into benchrest. Looks like known a few places in the rifle world
for trigger work primarily and a good guy. I bet the trigger tuning dissolved somewhat with the quality aftermarket triggers.

It looks like Winchesters and rimfires lots of info on rimfire sites.

Hopefully the new barrel will bring it back to life, a cool rifle none the less to hang on to. The trigger feels good but so do all my triggertech's haha.
