I am a previous owner of a Kahles 624i, it was the newer generation, and it was issue free. I sold it, and regret it.

I've been toying with buying another one, but in doing some more reading, some still seem to be having tracking errors/issues? Has anyone else experienced this lately, or has the problem been addressed?

If I dont go Kahles, it'll be an S&B Ultra Short or a Tangent Theta 3-15, which are both seemingly perfect, and both may be better for a rifle that will see more hunting than range time...but you pay a pretty penny for it.

I did really like the turrets, glass and the zero stop on the kahles, it was a fantastic optic for me.

Got 2 3-18 kahles and both track perfect out to 1100 so far. Both on 300 Norma improved.
Got a 6-24 gen3 on 6creed and no issues with it either.
Love the kahles and skmr3 reticles!

I have a K624i Gen 3 with 0 issues in a few years now. It gets passed around more than a 2nd string cheerleader with self-esteem and Daddy issues. It is my go-to scope.for load development. It has always gone back to zero on the rifle it lives on without a single tenth MIL variation. I would get a K318i in a heartbeat.

I also have a S&B PMII 3-20×50 and TT315M. You absolutely cannot go wrong with either of those.

Now that was funny...and informative. I did like the 624i alot, zero issues when I ran it. I just saw handful of posts/youtubes regarding tracking issues on mil/mil 624i scopes. That must have just been the 2md gen stuff.

Glad to hear zero issues from anybody here.
