Interesting. In my Lyman manual it had a 168g Sierra HPBT, which is their matchking bullet. The Max powder for IMR 4831 was 64.0. The above post shows 60.5. That is a monster difference. Why do you think that is?
With RE22 on that same bullet, the max in Lyman shows 66.0 and 2978FPS which is very close to what the post above shows
The numbers for IMR 4350 were close enough also.

That IMR4831 number is very strange though.

I mention these powders because that is what i currently have

Been awhile since ive been on but about your ? every load data book is a little different! remember that these are all based on safety for you and your gun! i myself use retumbo 72-72.5 grains with a cci large rifle primer and when it gets hot 70 degrees or so and warmer i use a remington 9 1/2 all around 3000-3100 fps... Remember look for pressure signs when it hot out how close to your lans you are these all make a difference! good luck and have fun i think you will enjoy berger bullets they definatly do what they say they do!!!
