I just purchased a savage ultra lite 300 wsm and plan to pair it with a leupold vx5hd. I didn't pick it up yet but looking forward to getting it this weekend. Blueprinted reciever from savage and proof carbon barrel. And of course, accutrigger!
Most of my hunting is very close range >100yds
And I plan to run 165 gn nosler partitions through a recce 7 suppressor which I'm sure will keep recoil very manageable.

here's hoping you get the chance to stretch its legs a bit further than 100 yards, even if it is just popping milk jugs way out there!
