Greetings, I just arrived here via Google search for reviews of the ELDX in 270 win. I landed on a good thread with new to me information as well as confirmation of some of my own findings.
All in all the info and the members providing the input made a positive impression of this site.
I'm not an LRH and certainly not an ELRH but the folks here who are seem to pursue the kind of shooting results that I like even though I probably won't be employing them at long range. My longest shot ever was on an antelope at 289 yards. I like to be prepared to make clean shots even though not very long.
About 60% of my big game hunting is with a stick bow, 25% with sidelock MLs and the rest with suppository guns.
This year it will all start on September 2nd with archery deer and elk as well as bear with weapon of choice. Later in the month will be an ML antelope hunt and then mid October a cow elk hunt in which i will be shooting a 270 T3 Lite.
So, thanks for reading and good shooting
