I have a MCA adapter for my 30-06 to 308. I so far have used it only for plinking and fun shooting. Would it be possible to achieve decent accuracy to 400-500 meters using the adapter and 308 home rolls with the bullets seated as far out as is possible? It seems to me you could seat heavier bullets in the 190-240 grain range and achieve maximum capacity of the 308 case while still retaining magazine fed capability. Just an idea I cooked up, anyone have any thoughts?
