So I re-barreled my 260 to a 6.5 Creedmoor using a straight taper proof barrel. I am hoping this thing doesn't have much recoil!!lol

Proof makes straight taper 1.20" barrels. I have 3 of them. 300PRC, 6.5PRC and 6.5 Creedmoor. They have all shot really good and I like them. I have other Bartlien, Krieger, and others but these look really cool and they are light.

That is a 24 inch barrel plus the brake.

Any idea how much it weighs?

No I don't but I will weight the gun and provide some data. It's on a Winchester action because that was my first competition gun and it has served me well. I have a suppressor for it but the brake took out all the recoil and she really likes that which concerns me that she intends on claiming this rifle?

Man, I have that bigass break from CA on My CA ELR in 6.5 PRC and it is a TOTAL pussycat!! Coming from 30 calibers, I just bought the same brake for my big 30, It'll beat the socks off of that radial!!!!

This brake on my 6.5 PRC allows me to spot splashes, hopefully my big 30's muzzle jump will be somewhat mitigated with this brake. The adjustable top ports really worked on my 6.5...
