Interested in shooting 600-800 yards.

I'm fairly new to shooting long ranges. I can currently shoot 400 yards with a 25-06 savage with 115gr Barnes tsx. Looking for advice on a 300wm to hunt elk and deer out of state at longer distances. I reload my ammo. I live in California lead free zone with little experience on the heavier grain bullets. Was told to look into 180s. I'm looking at a rifle budget of 500-800. Not too sure what to look for in the rifle itself. I'm looking to shoot out to 800 yards
