For a guy who only understands large vs small to be 1.3" vs 1.410" in diameter that doesn't answer my question. I've never had a Mauser if that wasn't obvious.
I'm guessing you mean there is only one length of action and the only difference is the large vs small receiver size?
It appears these actions were barreled in everything from 22-250 to 300wm. That leaves a lot of room for variation. Just trying to learn a little and maybe make a deal.
