Somebody else makes a positive aligning ring besides Burris-- anybody know who it is?? Burris only puts out a Super high Weaver style ring for 30mm tubes. I don't need/want that.

SS,
Only other's I know of are Jewell's, and they only come in 1".

sscoyote,
Burris does make 30mm ring's in there
signature series besides the super hi
zee ring (weaver style). I have mounted
at least 5 scopes with the Signature 30mm
dual dove tail ring's.they come in medium
high and extra high and unlike the 1" ring's
they come with 2 extra 10plus and 10minus
insert's (they are not sold seperately on
30mm ring's)

I think they are the best way to mount a
scope no ring mark's on a spendy scope no
ridiculous windage screw's and they are very
solid. you can use both set's of offset
insert's for elevation (20moa) or use 1 for
elevation 1for windage.if you have a Rem 700
you can allway's use 1 for windage.on most
application's I use Leupold dual dovetail
bases they are compatible and look nicer.

I agree with brianb. Those rings are the best on the market for gaining elevation or fixing off-center holes in receivers. They are a little hard to set up, but with a little tinkering, they can make you wish you had 'em on all your guns.

Yeah guys, me too- but i need to use the Picatinny rail for a mount on my Striker-- so i have to go with Weaver style, and all i've seen is the super high rings.

steve--that is all i have seen as well--you'd think they would make other than extra highs
