i just read about the new vx-3 scopes from Luppy. the new designation is vx-3 and the old scopes are referred to as vx111. this is how they're going to separate them. the exciting thing to me is the lens in the new scopes will be the same lens used on their vx-7's. matched lens systems, diamond coat lens coatings, filled with argon/krypton instead of nitrogen. they will have dual erector springs instead of one. price will be about 6% higher. about the only difference between the vx-7's and the new 3's will be the 7's will have an erector with 4X magnification where the new 3's will have the tried and true 3X.
