My name is Dan i've been shooting & reloading since the mid 70s (63 y o) I'm a Viet Nam combat disabled vet.
My latest project is a Browning eclipse in 270 wsm I'm trying to get as close to 4000fps as I can safely. The Barnes sight says they get 3940 with a 24 in. barrrel& an 85 gr bullet my rifle has a 26in. I also have some 85 gr nosler boat tails.
I also load for 50 beowulf, 454 raging bull & 22 hornet among others.
Every time I do a search on long range shooting I end up here so I thought I would join. Dan
