hi there, i have a browning abolt in 300wm, 26" barrel.
i got a ramline composite stock, it took a bit of fitment inside around the action, but all the blocks lined up good. so good in fact it didnt need bedding at all, its fully free floating past the action.
other then a bit of internal sanding and shaping, it fits really well.
its been a really good stock, i was a bit skeptical at first, i wasnt sure if the ergonomics were right, but it turned out to be pretty **** good. far superior to the factory stock.
they are cheap too, and readily available. about 120 bucks Canadian, so depending on where you live maybe 100 bucks in the states, as they are made stateside i believe.
here is a pic
it came in black, and i did a stone texture paint job on it making it white grey speckle. the black wasnt bad, but i wanted something stone camo for mountain shooting.
hope this helps.
