Hey Guys,
The wife got me a Bushnell Scout 1000 for Christmas and its less than ideal for LR hunting but I'm trying to make due for now.
I have some shooting spots I'm taking ranges, angles etc and drawing maps with distances as my pre-season homework and wanted to know what your ideas are on getting the most out of your range finder.
So far I use a tripod with it and might try doing readings off a sand bags but what are your thoughts on the best lighting conditions, time of day, tricks etc.
