Long shot here, as the post says, in search of a take off 264 Winchester Barrel pre 64. 26 inch, Not shot out. Kind of a needle in a hay stack.. any information would be appreciated.

Unfortunately they do not have the correct barrel contour. It was built in 63 and has a featherweight contour barrel.

Not sure if you have or not, but if not, you should give him a call. Great guy and not sure how often he updates his site.

I just checked the pre64win.com site and mine looks like the ones he has pictures of.
No idea of what year Mod 70 it came off of, it was part of my Dads collection that I got when he passed away.

The pre 64 M70 featherweights had shorter barrels.
The M 70 .264 Western had the 26" barrel.
