Huskemaw Rangefinder - What happened?

I see in a bunch of the Huskemaw / Best of the West stuff references to a Huskemaw Rangefinder that came out in 2009, but they're nowhere to be found now. Anyone use one? Were they just a crappy product? What happened?

It's the G7 rangefinder. Been out for a few months I think. There are a few posts about them here.
