I have a Howa 1500 in stainless steel and synthetic stock. It is one of the best shooting out of the box guns I have ever owned. The gun not only looks good but needed no trigger work(all my other guns needed a gunsmith to work on them to get as good)and shoots less than an inch groups at 100 yards. Remember, that is right out of the box. You can't ask for more than that out of a hunting rifle.
