so I've got an elk quartered and hanging in the garage… frozen. I'm wondering the best way to defrost it so I can process it? I have a space heater and was thinking about setting it up about 10' away so the meat doesn't get warm. I know some people toss quarters in the freezer and deal with them later but the temps here in MT won't get about 35 for quite sometime… if at all before spring. Thanks in advance for the input.
