How much mil adjustment should i need for 1k??

I just bought a savage 111 long range hunter in 6.5x284, going to be shooting 142 seirras from black hills and also 140 vlds from HSM.

I wanted to put a weaver tactical 4-20x50 on the rifle but not sure there is enough adjustments to reach out to 1000 yards and am thinking I may need to go with the 3-15X that has more adjustment?

I don't want to sight in for more than a 200 yard zero as this will also serve as a hunting rig.

Will the 4-20 work or do I need to go with the 3-15?

With a 200 zero it takes me 7 mil to hit 1000, that is w/300 otm. I think that scope has 16 mil and other 27 mil. Either would work, but id depends how it fits on rifle also, You can run a 20 moa base. The 4-20 could be close depending ?
