How much extra velocity?

I know there is a lot of other factors involved but on average how much velocity can be gained in a .243 winchester when going from a 24" to a 26" barrel?

Average velocity gain should be between 50 and 100 fps but a lot depends on the powder bullet combo. A good guesstimate is 40 fps for each inch of barrel.
