I had the very problem mentioned regards ammo. My 7-08 shot great with Vhit 150 locally but when i took it up on the hill in winter the accuraccy turned bad. Took a little time to confirm this though as it only effected cold rounds from the magazine spares from the warmer pocket of my coat shot fine. Turned to H4350 and had no problem in past four years
