so I got a chance to finally try the sub x ammo on a deer. Ended up taking a very large bodied 8 point. Was very curios as to what that round would do as I e had very poor performance trying to find a good sub round. Heavy stuff didn't expand at all. Even in packed snow bank. This deer went about 40 yards nice size exit hole and lots of blood. Not a long shot 30 yards but still very good performance for a sub round. Wasn't sure I would get a pass through with it moving so slow and being able to expand.
