Stopped into Scheels yesterday to see if I could get lucky on a couple things and while I was there I spotted these 75gr ELD-M's and having just shot up a bunch of .223 ammo the day before I figured I'd give them a try. Come to find out they are too long to work in an AR mag. I could load them to proper length and single feed them, which I don't really mind doing, but figured I'd throw them up here just to see if I can unload them. Apparently the 73gr ELD's are designed for use in AR mags so I may try to find some of those, or just go back to the BTHP's I had been using.
I paid $51 for two, 100 count boxes. One box is still sealed, the other is open and I had only taken one bullet out to take a look at it and compare it to some other bullets, it's back in the bag now.
