hornady 6.5 eldm 147 gr

I shot an antelope with it at 384 yards out of a 6.5 Manbun (Creedmore) this year. My son used the same rifle/bullet on his antelope at about 290 yards. The bullet performed very well, in my opinion.

I have had very good results with them out of a 6.5 CM factory loads @ 2695 fps. Nothing has went more then 10 yds before dropping. Ranges 150 to 356 on deer and speed goats. Pics below of a whitetail at 150yds, massive blood trail went 10 yds and done.

I shot 4 whitetail in 2020 with the 147 eld-m from my 6.5prc. None went more than a few steps. The internal damage was conclusive. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot any game animals under 500lbs with them. That's both sides of a 175lb whitetail buck. You can see that he was quartering to and my shot was well back. I only hit a little lung, and destroyed the liver. Shot was about 150y, he ran 10y maybe. I killed him and the doe with him. These deer were my test of this bullet as a hunting round. I was skeptical, but not anymore.
