Hehehe, I gotta ask what you shot these out of? I see it didn't take you long to know recoil with that bullet has got to be strong! I'm sorry to laugh, 'cause I know! I had a Siamese Mauser in 45/70 and tried a couple of those 500s. My Hornady's "say they are soft tipped (or expandable, I don't remember which) " but after going through one big Sycamore tree and burying into another, the only damage to the bullet was the axe cut I made trying to cut it out ! But, boy , what a bullet and load! I have since sold that rifle.
