I found a bunch of H5010 in my stash of powders and was wondering if anyone has load data with it for heavier magnums. It is slower than retumbo, probably around r33, but faster than 50bmg. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I've used it in my 30/378. 300 RUM with 200 gr Nosler Part and my son's 7mm RUM with 175 Nosler part. Fed 215's all around. In the 30/378 worked up to 113 gr for a vel of 3194 ft/sec. Also tried the 190 gr Hornady worked up to 115 grs for a vel of 3329 ft/sec. In my 300 RUM worked up to 103.6 with the 200 gr Nosler for a vel of 3205 ft/sec. Also tried the 190 gr Hornady, worked up to 105 grs for a vel of 3172 ft/sec. In my son's 7mm RUM used the 175 Part, started at 92 grs and worked up to 97 grs. Vel was just over 3200 ft/sec. As far as burn rate I found it to be in the same range as would be H-870. I would say just a tad slower than Retumbo, although as we all know this can change in different guns and components. I've also used RL-33 in these calibers and would say the burn rate is similar. Hope this helps.
PS: Never used H-50 BMG.

This definitely helps! Thank you. Cross referencing I figured it would be 7828 +6ish. That makes my numbers seem very conservative. I'll work up a ladder for fun and wear my heavy welding gear :)

Let us know how you do. I also tried it in my 300 Win mag with the 200 gr Speer and a CCI-250. Worked up to 81 grs for a vel of 2790 ft/sec. I found this too compressed a load for my liking and the vel was lower than other 7828/RL-22 type powders. I found it too slow and bulky for this case. JMO
