Jason hiked up to an elevation of 10k and spotted several deer before settling on this buck at a distance of 450 yards. He used a 6.5 PRC and the 124 Hammer Hunter bullet.
Jason's field report read, "The shot was a front quartering shot that went through the right shoulder blade. The entrance hole was pretty devastating and there was a relatively small exit hole, so I'm guessing the bullets did what they were supposed to and stayed in the chest cavity. The buck only took a couple of steps before expiring. Thanks again for the good bullets. I'm hoping to test them on an AZ Coues buck later this month."
