I shoot a Kimber 325 wsm and about to rebarrel my Mod 70 30-06 to a 280 AI....will be looking for info on loads and such that you all have found through trial and error
7mmAM: 200 grain Wildcat ULDRBBT at up to 3400 fps. Accuracy is super and it holds it even at long range. 100 yards is typically a ragged hole, 300 is typically under 1" etc. etc.
The round is based on the 338 Lapua case which Kirby has improved. Some are concerned about using smaller standard actions like the 70 or 700. My action is a Nesika M w/.590 bolt face.
