Not to sure about shooting those ?Here ya go...
Something old that is new
Not a museum piece.Berger and Hammer are each making bullets similar idea. Not to sure about shooting those ?
But Is Herters still in business ?
Seems like I have a 6mm herters barrel still in the cardboard tube , they came in , probably more of a museum piece than anything!
The Herters name is still out there, however if memory serves me, there was a buy out by Gander Mountain who was then bought out by cabelas, I believe that was just the catalog rights but not the stores,Not to sure about shooting those ?

Check it out , post mark says 1971, and inside is a barrel and the only thing I can see ,is 6mm stamped on it .Hey HOriginal Herter's box? I would put it on the shelf next to my other antique containers. Some are older than me.
Good luck ,nuke a bunch of em!After last big hurrah, and everything returned to normal. I purchased a lifetime supply of herters 308 win. 150 spce, 180 soft points, and 147 fmj s. I think there were Manufactured by SnB. The 150 spec's shoot unbelievable good, in every rifle I've tried them in.
Matter of fact, I plan to eliminate some swine tonight with them. (Unless my wife plans otherwise!)
I not only remember but i shoot some, they weren't very accurate in my ruger, while I no longer have any wasp bullets, I think I have a couple of unopened 6mm bulletsBought a lot of stuff from Herters but didn't get into reloading until later in the 70s and by that time Herters was gone. Do remember the Wasp Waist and Banana Peel bullets, though.
