I had a Timmey trigger installed and now the bolt rubs. Should I have a Smith cut and weld safety lower or demel off some of the bottom of the bolt? I wish I had a small welder.

I mill the area away, on the bolt shroud, where its rubbing. No welding needed OR wanted. You can do the same with a Dremel tool, but it leaves it kinda' ugly. I can't tell from the second pic,,,, is the safety lever contacting the extractor, too?

I'm not a Gunsmith but I would make the modifications to the safety lever not the bolt.

If I could cut 1/4" off the middle of the safety lever and reblue might be the best way to go. I'm thinking I should not mess with the bolt.
