I'm Stu' in Oklahoma and I've been into long range shooting from the bench for years. I'm finally beginning to prepare for some relatively long range hunting.
My shooting has always been casual and intermittent. Over the years, time for shooting and hunting has been hard to come by. Ive been retired for a few years now and decided to make time for this.
At this moment the old '49 vintage Model 70 in 30-06 has been selected to get a new 6.5mm barrel. Hopefully I'll be ready to go by mid Summer.
Im hoping to pick up some knowledge and advice from Y'all here. Maybe I'll also be able to add something to the group.
