Does leupold make long range scope bases for the Savage mod 116 L.A.? I know they do for the Rem. 700. I have a Bushnell elite 4200 4-16X40, and what I have read is they don't have enough elevation adjustment. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I use EGW rails on all my guns since im a leftie. They have never let me down. They make a 0 MOA and a 20 MOA to fit the savage 116, right or left hand.

b.c.,
Leupold does not make a LR (STD) for the Savage LA, unfortunately. You can, however, get considerable elevation with a regular Leupold STD base and Burris Signature STD rings. This the setup I have on my Savage 112BVSS in 6.5-284 but I use 30mm high rings. JohnnyK.
