Oh gosh iam having a 338 edge built and its nearing the final stages . My gunsmith said that I should send him a dummy round. I haven't got my dies yet and don't know about what to do. I can order dies on Tuesday that might work. What coal should I load this round to. Iam am planing on just shooting 300 smk and bergers. Oh yea my magazine is a seekins and I think the inside length in 4 inches. Any help with this would be great . Thanks in advance too.

To get exactly what you want, wait on the brass, bullets, and dies. Don't order the dies "that might work". Order the dies that will work. Assemble as many as 3 or 4 to your specs and then send them to your 'smith along with your magazine length requirments. Wrap your dumbies carefully, so the bullets don't get 'pushed back' during transit/handling.
