I'm building a 338 federal in an AR-10. I am looking for advice on the barrel.
•accuracy
•availability
•weight

all input is appreciated

That's the same barrel I run on my bolt rifles but from what I can see I can't get it in 338 federal?
My favorite rifle wears one in a 6.5 x 2

84 Norma that's a bummer you can't get it in 338 federal possibly you can get a 338 blank and have it chambered

Beautiful rifle!! Here's my baby. That proof barrel was a game changer

I shot my buck last year at 800 yards with a 208g ELD. Heart punched him. I'm getting nervous though. Can't find the projectiles anywhere. I might build a twin but in .308 since the lighter bullets are easier to find

I will make a note of that and check at my local gun store the next time I'm there

I appreciate that. I run a 208g Hornady ELD-M or Berger 215g Hybrid. But I haven't been able to find them in a long time
I have another friend deputy 819 who has been looking for the 215 Hybrids they are very scarce he finally was able to trade someone on the forum for something he had to offer I know for a fact they have the 230 hybrids in stockOr at least did the last time I was there and I also know they are out of 215's at least for now

I was able to get a few hundred 210g VLD as a backup but don't really want to burn the powder to dial in a new load if I don't need to. I'll be glad when this shortage is done

That's for sure I haven't done any shooting to speak of this year while

I have a few components I'm not looking to run out of what I have
