I've been a toolmaker and hobby gunsmith for the last 40 yrs. Served my apprenticeship under Mr. "Curly" Wilson in Memphis. He did his apprenticeship under P.O. Ackley. Actually got to talk to the gentleman a couple of times in the early 70's. Anyway, I do quite a bit of bedding, fitting, trigger work and accurizing of mostly bolt guns. Have a few "great" shooters in my safe. Have membership to local range with a 550 yd. range. We're discussing the building of a 1000 yd. in the future. I'm looking forward to this forum and learning from you guys. It seems that, no matter who you are, you can always learn something from anyone you meet. You just have to stop talking and "listen". Thanks guys for the opportunity to get involved with this forum...
