I have always been interested in long range shooting. I used to hunt a lot when I was young and have always enjoyed target shooting. I was a member of the rifle team when in high school and tied for second in the state match of my senior year. My second place shot was more on the edge of the bull's eye (sitting position). I am getting ready to retire from the workforce this year and will move back to the family farm. The farm will allow me to have a target range on my back porch. There is plenty of room, no close by neighbors and a big hill with a ton of trees as an additional backstop.
I just recently added to my collection of firearms (some bought, some inherited), a S&W 500 Hunter (10.5 inch), the scope for it is due in tomorrow. This is gonna be fun
